Artificial grass isn’t a trend we jumped on. It’s the industry we’ve spent more than 20 years helping to build. Glen Hannon founded EnduroTurf as a family business in Queensland in 2003, after years of looking into business opportunities during one of Australia’s extensive periods of drought. We were the first company in Australia to supply homeowners with a professional-grade artificial grass made right here. In 2005, EnduroTurf Supreme became the first synthetic grass to qualify for the Australian Made logo, and it’s legacy is still present today
We can back up the history, too. In 2007, when artificial grass was only just getting going in Australia, Channel 10 News came out to one of our residential installs. Glen talked through the job, and the homeowners explained why they’d made the switch: it looked great, saved them time and freed them up to travel. From there, we became a leading name in artificial grass, putting greens and sporting surfaces across Queensland, with agents around the country.
After two decades of installations, we know what makes a surface perform and what makes one fail. Today, EnduroTurf operates primarily as a wholesale supplier, putting that knowledge into every product we supply for trade installers, landscapers, builders and DIY homeowners. Our range covers landscape artificial grass, synthetic putting greens, and playground and sporting surfaces. Most of our business still comes through word of mouth, and that’s earned through honest advice and standing behind what we sell.
